About Us

We are a 501c3 non profit organization based in Auburn that seeks to assist local families in a life threatening medical crisis. We primarily serve families in north Pierce and south King County and work off the referrals of local supporters, businesses, churches and social workers. Many of our families come to us from Mary Bridge and/or Seattle Children's Hospital. We also provide college scholarships for local students that live in our dedicated service areas. Our mission statement is to Inspire Youth and Encourage Families.

Our Seeds of Hope team assists 12-16 families each year as they struggle through a cancer diagnosis and treatment plan with a child. Each family is able to work with our team to develop a family experience unique to their needs and situation. While some families may just need the basics such as food, gas, shelter and clothing, some families want the ability to spend some family bonding time together and ask us to send them to a water park, a zoo, or maybe some museums. Every family is different and that is the best part of helping families. Our team has assisted over 150 families since we started in Auburn in 2010. We wish that number was zero!! Until we find a cure, we want to be able to provide for these families and provide them with hope and encouragement.
