The EXPO’s purpose is to provide our students and the community with information about majors and careers in the STEM fields.
The STEM EXPO includes:
Faculty panel participants’ will share a brief introduction about their work experiences and career path, and respond to students’ questions.
Several university panelists will also briefly share information about their programs, a specific student success story from their respective programs, and career opportunities in the field.
The student panel is comprised of STEM students among others from St. Martin’s University and University of Washington-Tacoma. They will describe coursework and extracurricular activities that prepared them for their program; projects that they completed that they felt especially proud of, and their applicability to what they would like to do in their career, and any internships they have done or may be considering for further preparation in their career.
Pierce College is excited to be recruiting and educating the next generation of problem solvers and leaders in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health fields.
