Join us for our monthly Government Affairs Council meeting!

Our August featured guest will be Shawn Bunney, Principal of Creative Local Strategies. He will provide a brief update regarding the implementation of results of the 2023 Legislative Session, with a focus on transportation projects. We'll also hear our regular updates from local public and elected officials.

Government Affairs Council (GAC) meetings are open to all members. Come prepared to listen and contribute to the topics of the day. Public and elected officials from our state, Pierce County, City of Puyallup and City of Sumner are regularly in attendance. We discuss issues and policies pertinent to business as they relate to government affairs. Guest speakers are brought in to speak on expert matters.

Meetings are held (with the occasional exception) the first Tuesday each month, 8:00am - 9:00am, virtually via Zoom (since April 2020).

Since our meetings moved to Zoom, we have made archived recordings of GAC meetings available on the Chamber's YouTube channel.
