BRIDGE LIGHTING IN DOWNTOWN SUMNER
2008 Bridge Lighting Ceremony The Bridge Lights will be turned on Friday November 28th at 5:00 pm while hundreds of well wishers watch and listen to music. After the Bridge Lighting travel to the East End of Sumner and enjoy the lights at Windmill Gardens. This annual event opens the special events calendar for the holiday season at the Old Cannery and Windmill Gardens. The Old Cannery Offers Special financing and fun store events like free Carriage Rides and free pictures with the jolly old elf himself will be available on the weekends between 11:00am and 4:00pm. Windmill Gardens will display more that 20,000 illuminated outdoor winter garden lights. Be surrounded by hundreds of blooming poinsettias in all the latest colors and fresh wreaths and greens perfect for decking your halls. Blooms will have a marvelous display of decorated trees and gift ware and a wonderful selection of holiday ornaments.
