Local businessman Dennis Endres remembers it as though it were yesterday. It was a beautiful morning off the coast of Cozumel, and Dennis was listening restlessly while the guide instructed the group of divers on the boat. He could hardly wait to dive deep into the water and explore an ocean realm he'd never seen before. As soon as he heard the okay, Dennis dropped over the edge of the boat and plunged into the ocean depths, ahead of all the others. Scuba diving is Dennis' favorite hobby, and it's no surprise that he was the first in line to dive in . In fact, that memorable dive is etched in Dennis' memory. In everything he does, this driven professional plunges right in--head first, ready to tackle the task at hand.
TAKING THE PLUNGE
Anyone who knows Dennis will tell you that whenever he takes on a project or activity, he immerses himself in it completely until he's achieved the results he's aiming for. He's been this way since he was every young. As a boy, when his fellow paperboys were spending their earnings, Dennis worked extra hard to save enough money to buy himself a much-needed new bike. When he was a teenager, it was his first car. As an adult he worked his way up from a position as a lineperson to become the plant superintendant for a major manufacturing company.

In fact, for this authentic Washington native and Viet Nam veteran, it's completely natural for him to be fully involved in everything he does. His love for the ocean is a good example. ''It's so peaceful and quiet there,'' he says. ''Just the sound of bubbles and your breathing!'
